Profiles that understand intent

A profile can detect Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI, or another tool. If it exists, OpenMultiTerm launches it. If it does not, the app shows how to install it. This sounds like a detail until the tenth machine.

We also separated detection from launch. Each platform can use a stable shell, and the UI no longer tries to run a Windows-only executable on Linux out of pure optimism.

One folder, one context

Later we added a folder picker for agents. Choosing the project becomes part of the workflow instead of a ritual involving `cd`, autocomplete, and a brief existential doubt about whether this is the right repository.

The actual goal

We are not adding “AI integration” as a shiny sticker. We are removing friction around tools that already live in the terminal. If an agent starts in the right place and keeps its session, the feature has done its job.
